Wind down with cocktails at this rooftop bar in Tanjong Pagar

Perched on the highs of Tower 15 (i.e. 15 Hoe Chiang Road, Level 17) lies a Moroccan themed bar named Fabrika, which is a mere 7 minutes' walk, or 600 m. from Tanjong Pagar MRT Station. If you are driving, parking at 100 AM Shopping Mall is only $3 per entry after 5 pm.

Fabrika is part of klapsons, The Boutique Hotel, which was one of the first boutique hotels in Singapore and the designs and artistry of the insides definitely contrast the grim hustle and bustle of the business district outside.
Fabrika is opened from Mondays to Fridays except public holidays, and habitually appeals to the white collar workers looking for a sky terrace bar for some breaths of fresh air while enjoying a few drinks. On the menu were various selections of beers on tap, fine wines and cocktails. The cocktail menu is extensive, and ranges from the usual Screwdriver to their own in-house concoctions such as the "Café Aphrodisiac" .


Coupled with breathtaking views of the surrounding skylines amid backdrops of daily sunsets – all in all purportedly worthy in calming the souls and refreshing the minds, whilst summarising another work day well done.
Happy Hours are from   5pm to 8pm, and other than Fridays,  10pm to 12am as well.  There are 1-for-1 for Beers, Chivas Cocktails, House Wines by the glass and housepour spirits by the glass as well. Currently there is a promotion of  50% off 2nd bottle of Housepour Spirits (including Chivas 18) and Perrier Jouet Grand Brut.

Cocktails

Today we were on a mission to try some of Fabrika's popular cocktails. We had the pleasure of Jazz, the Assistant Manager of Fabrika hosting us, and  empowering us with their signature cocktails that merits much pleasure and intemperance:
“Chartreuse Caprihana”, which I reckon is a rousing Brazilophile’s drink, expressly muddled with Brown Sugar, Lime Juice and Sprite – all things considered, the frostily beverage is altogether refreshing with bits of Green Apple cuts and frankly, no amounts would tire my wanting for more!
Another somewhere similar but different one is the “Green Apple” and maybe the drink for the classy wannabe who perhaps seek the occasional craving for zesty tanginess that will be accommodated in a showy martini glass filled with Vodka Absolut and iced by apple flavoured balls, which is further vitalised with more Apple Sourz liqueur and indisputably qualified as a cocktail for the queerly Courageous, Valiant and Bold ones!
And how can we miss the classic? The “Screwdriver”, your typical of-age virgin alcoholic cocktail that one would proudly blend when a teenager-at-home because nothing could be more exact than Orange Juice and shitloads of Vodka, hitherto Fabrika does it with style and one with orange flavoured iced balls in also the same showy martini glass, and to be generously bathed with perspicuous amounts of Absolut Vodka!
And finally, our favourite of them all, hence introducing the “Café Aphrodisiac”! Excepting, do not ask what the beverage relates because the subject is trifling and visually the mix is revered enough for its splendor and also vast amounts of Bailey’s, Cointreau, Chocolate Gelato and sinfully quantities of Chocolate Syrup and this pretty much sums up the content of all human calories for the day, nevertheless well-intentioned, praiseworthy and a drink much commendable!

FOOD

Besides drinks, Fabrika has a surprisingly different kind of food menu from usual pub grub. After perusing through the menu and not being able to decide, we let  Jazz recommend us their popular dishes:

These dishes were really delicious and we could only wish we had a nice plate of white rice to go with them! Check out the full menu here.
And once the tipsiness sets in, let the night and its accompanying breeze (and sometime much dramatic thundery rain, but this place is well sheltered) carry the tunes of Chain Reaction, Tabula, A&E or The Flavours from 6:45pm to 945 pm daily, whilst relaxing to unwind and drink more to be merry!
